George Thomas Realty was established in 1967 by George H. Thomas Jr.  A retired Officer in the United States Air Force. Mr. Thomas' dream was to help people in his community own a home, many for the very first time. His work ethic and people skills helped him become very successful in his venture and with a ever growing team of REALTORS, he helped hundred's achieve the dream of homeownership. 

Mr. Thomas noticed the need for suitable insurance for the clients that were purchasing homes. He signed his first insurance contract in 1977 with U.S.F. & G. Insurance and Thomas Insurance Agency, an Independent Insurance Agency was created

Today both companies remain dedicated to servicing the Omaha Area professionally with honesty & integrity. GTR, a member of the Omaha Area Board of Realtors, The Omaha Chamber of Commerce and the Multiple Listing Service was awarded Small Business of the Year by SBA's S.C.O.R.E. in 2003. 

Auto Insurance Mart are members of the Big "I" Independent Agents, the Omaha Chamber of Commerce and  co-sponsors of the company's community website  www.DiscoverBlackOmaha.com. The agency represents many fine companies including The Travelers, ITT Hartford, AAA and Drive Insurance, and is licensed to do business in both Nebraska & Iowa. The company handles over $1.2 million in annual insurance premiums and it offers multiple lines of insurance
